Accounts & HR
We are looking for people with experience in the field of Accounting and Human Resources, with work experience in a start-up NGO environment. Ideally, we would like someone with experience in both these departments. We are a small NGO and while we hope to have a more robust team in the future, we would like to do this slowly and organically.
Community Well-being And Development
Our work is primarily based on working with the fishing communities of Pondicherry; we are looking for someone who understands how to navigate the delicate dynamics of fishing communities and communities of Tamil Naidu. Knowing the local language is a key component of building relationships and trust; our requirement is for people who are proficient in Tamil and English.
Grant Team
When we first started in 2020, we were self-funded while we found our footing and built the team. In September of 2021, we received approval and tax exemptions from the Government of India under sections 12A and 80G; we are now ready to look for external funding. If you have experience in this area, we would love to hear from you.
